Just bought my new Camaro! (pics) Any suggestions for mods?
Pretty pumped to own my first cool car haha. 2LT with the RS package. I'm starting with a fresh slate here, so Any suggestions for some mods I should do to it from you more experienced guys? I know right off the bat I wanna black out the chevy logo and also black out the wheels. The guy at the shop I went to said black paint won't stay on those wheels so I may have to invest in some black rims..
anyway here's the pic, I'm excited as hell! Picking it up tomorrow, had to wait til tomorrow so I could get my insurance and everything squared away

First off Welcome
 and congrats on the car... Nice 1st post w/ pic and all...There are a ton of V6 threads on here with discussions on every mod you can think of... type in the search box and it's just like google..  Start with a Cold Air Intake and get rid of the front plate...

Sometimes I wonder why dealers dont just put CAI in the car themselves. Saves us alot of time. Ill gladly pay the 300 extra bucks.

First thing I would do is tint the windows. Then look at lowering it. If you do want to go with black wheels then you can either have your wheels powder coated or look as some black chrome replicas maybe.

CAI, good start IMO (it's the 1st and only performance mod I've done). Have done several appearance mods though. There are dozens of threads on this site from washing your car to turbocharging it, there is nothing you won't find. Get out the reading glasses AND your wallet..  Welcome to the family. |

congrats on the new car, it looks great. the bad news is you will probably end up spending more money on the mods than the car itself. but the good news is you will have a perma-grin the whole time.

Far as mods go, like others said CAI and Exhaust for sure, love the Flowmaster axleback 817483!!! Sound clip in my thread in V6 exhaust section. |

picked it up at 4pm today....been driving it ever since....1:23 am here in my time zone, just got home for the first time haha. i parked it at a restaraunt and sat by the window and soo many people walking by stopped and looked at it. lots of great feedback from my friends and ladies
 there's a scratch on the side, the dealership thinks it came from being on the truck or something, they're fixing it tomorrow. i'll also see about getting the wheels powdercoated black tomorrow while i'm in there. camaro's look 100x more amazing at night too! i would focus on any thing but performances.... make it look really cool.... theres just no reason to mod a v6 engine camaro

Keep the front plate (I chose to not get pulled over)
Cat/Axel back exhaust (I chose Flowmaster AMT) Cold Air Intake (I chose Injen) Black and Silver Painted Bowties (I choose Gary's Customs)

My favorite mods have been...
tint windows MRT v2 exhaust Foose Wheels... I wanted to give my 6 a little rumble an the MRT was the answer. Enjoy!
