Well, considering prices were about a dollar a round in March, it's a good thing to see prices coming down. Hopefully in another couple months it'll be time to buy again. I'm running a little low on my stash

I dont' see them going for that much anymore. 19 bucks is actually not too bad. Even pre-panic they were running 13-16 depending on where you found them. Just figured I'd share for others. I can't buy them since they won't ship to my crappy state.

Help an idiot here... Leupold states 67 MOA adjustment.
Under the cap it goes up to 14...
So lets say at 500 yards, that would be 5"/1 moa. or 1.25"/.25.
So if I turn it to 14, that should be 70" (bullet won't drop that much)
Am I correct in this assumption?
Now where does the 67 MOA come in?

okay, so you have a zero stop? Your external knob has a zero stop feature, the knob will physically stop turning at or near its zero setting. A scope without a zero stop has a knob that will keep turning until the erector assembly bottoms out in the scope body tube. You should be able to loosen the screws and get another 14 MOA.

Shank, your math is good. Charlie has you pointed in the right direction. I don't know what Leupold calls it, but it's a knob on top of your scope adjustment. Charlie calls it a zero stop. You actually take it off to adjust the scope zero, then put it back on for a quick 'return to zero' if you shoot at different distances.

Is each number 4 clicks? Then it's giving you 14 moa compensation. (assuming your scope is 1/4 moa resolution.)
According to this graph, you're good to 500 yds without loosening it to go past the stop. (200yd zero graph)

Each number is 4 clicks..

Someone told me it will continue to turn around 14, for another 14, and so on.
What I think I need is this http://www.leupold.com/resources/custom-dial-system/
Instead of loosening that set screw every time. Someone told me not to mess with it if it's sighted in.

Try to turn it backwards a few clicks, you'll know pretty quick.

A good scope properly mounted will return to zero, but I'm a holdover and lead kinda guy, so that last bit of advice looks good.

Had an expensive day today. Shot 5 pistols, 12 gauge, AR15, and my 700. I REALLY like the Springfield XD 45. Very smooth gun and I was quite accurate with it. The Mossberg 500 is fun too. AR15... I want one now. Going to have to fight the urge. Very accurate and fun. My 700 I absolutely love. So smooth, so loud, and so much power. Crazy accurate.
Was a fun birthday. Should have some photos.

The only in-ear I have experience with is the Walkers game ear. I really like it but I don't have anything to compare it to....

Walker's are really the only ones I've heard of...doesn't look like they have much competition.

In-ear is too uncomfortable after a while, and hard to seat..... it's thin muffs for me.
