It's just an old run of the mill hi-power, I'll give you a couple hundred for it

But seriously, is that gold plated engraved? I'd guess simulated ivory grips? You're not keeping it in your toolbox are you?

Some presentation grade model, probably worth a LOT depending on rarity & age

AR 15 sale feeler...

I'm thinking about selling my AR-15... I have only had it out once(50 rds) since I bought it and most of that is due to the BS in ammo costs as of late! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it! So does my wife! But now she's pregnant with our first child and can't go shoot it right now, nor do I see much time to go shoot in the near future with a baby and my other daughter to raise, especially with the cost of going to shoot it! So basically I'm just trying to see if there's any interest on here in buying it?

Its a:
S&W M&P 15 ORC

It has a lot of extras:
EOTech EXPS2-2 W/ EOTech G33 3X FTS magnifier(quick detach system)
Generic flip up back up sights
Magwell grip
MAGPUL EXTRAS:
Forend
Angled forend grip
BAD lever
Trigger guard
Grip w/battery storage
Adj buttstock
5 magazines

Also would come with padded lockable case (retailed for $140), 2 bipods and 700 rounds...

Again, trying to see if there's any interest.

Before anyone asks, no I will not part it out. All or nothing.

PM me with any questions or offers

I'd be interested in ammo, if it's a halfway decent price.

if you have got 700 rounds laying around, why dont you go have a range day... you will probably reconsider selling it.

Also the rifle may come in handy in a couple years when your daughter get to the age where she starts dating...

I can agree with both of those!

Told the wife about posting it and "she ripped my ass about it"

Well the ex took the SIG 226... so picked up a s&w .40 and a Benelli 12 gauge today. Few more things to pick up before the zombies come.

I have bought a lot of ammo from bulkammo and they sent me an email about their sales. I kinda got mad lol and sent them a message basically telling them I will buy from them when their pries are reasonable again. Wasn't expecting a response back but here is what they sent me.

XXXX,

I completely understand the frustration with the high prices on ammunition. All of the prices you see on our site are directly based on what we are currently paying our distributors for product. We have long sold out of product that was ordered at the end of last year at lower, pre-panic prices. We're doing everything we can to provide our customers with the ammunition that they desire. At the same time, we realize that price is a huge factor in our current economy and are working each day with our distributors to get those prices any lower. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be more than happy to help!

Thank you,
Joseph

I want to know what you guys feel is fair pricing for remanufactured ammo in 9. 40. 38. and 45. Price per round if sold in 100 round bundles or a set price per 100 rounds. Thank you!

Everyone I know divides it out to see what the price is per round before they buy it. If priced too high they walk away. Are you selling 45? If so pm me.

Depends on if someone is supplying the brass or if the brass is also being sold.

I use to reload to sell at the firing range back in the fall and last summer to people who didn't bring enough. If they brought me brass to use, it was roughly half the cost of a box at a store. If they didn't and I had to supply the brass the cost was the same.

For example, a box of 50 9mm I would sell for about $7, retail it would cost $13. A box of 50 .45 I would sell for $13 when retail a box cost $24. Both of those examples is if someone brought me a box of brass. Brass is about 60% of the cost of a box so if I also had to sell them the brass my cost was equal to what they could buy a box for retail. My prices also included $2 per box of 50 to cover my time and labor it takes to reload and work up a load that works depending on the weight of the bullet.

PM Sent Jason, thank you!

Mr Draco - Thank you for your feedback. Pre December 2012 pricing is great but that was then, this is now. We have to pay the manufacture more than that for current supply and demand than what you or anyone was doing pre December 2012. Pricing will go down eventually and our purchase price of what we have to pay will go down. But right now their is nowhere you are buying 100 rounds to 1,000 rounds for $0.24 cents a round today that I can find that has inventory to send out. I can sell bundles of 1,000 rounds right now. Just need an honest opinion on fair pricing for you guys with the current market.

The manufacturers haven't raised their prices, the vendors are the one raising them. The stores I order supplies from haven't increased their prices.

I only have bolt action rifles: an old '03 Springfield sporter and a .300 Weatherby Mark V. The '03 shoots great and I can't afford to shoot the .300! Plus the recoil is a bitch!

I picked up 9mm for 30 cents a round (with shipping) through midway last week. .45 for 40 cents, .40 for 37 cents, and even .223 for for 47 cents a round. Keep your eyes open, good deals still happen. Cabelas, MidwayUSA, PSA (sometimes), even Wally World.

Current market is a little higher, but not too bad. Then again, people will pay what people will pay. Just take a look at ammoseek or something like that and sell it for whatever the low end is running... but I think "fair" price seems to be whatever the "new" price is because supply is still a little low.

32-35 cents for 9mm, 35-40 for .40, 40-45 for .45... I think that's still fair. Not sure about .38 though

Perfect! Okay, thank you for the feedback. That does sound fair for current market price.
