Nav screen in the z\28

so guys are you thumbs up for the optional nav screen in the z\28 or thumbs down...

the gt500 comes with optional nav and it seems to me that most people take that option ... so do you think it would be a smart move from gm

Well, I said thumbs up, but I think you'll find a lot of people on this board will disagree.

If they want to make it an option that's fine as long as they don't "Package" it in with other options I may want

IMO, nav should at least be offered as an "Option".

I guess as an option, but if I were to order, I probably wouldn't spend the extra money on it.

I would be happy with lightweight seats and panels.

I don't see the big deal in adding options to a car. Contrary to some people's belief, it is not 1969. The car is a tribute not a reproduction. I dont remember seeing 20" rims and XM on older model cars. I'm glad we have our creature comforts. Sometimes you can go overboard. HUDs, internet, etc.

I would want it.
I'm thinking the interior redesign for 2012 will have that option

I like factory Nav systems not only for the navigation but also because the big display and/or touch screen expands the options for readouts etc. My Honda Pilot Nav screen shows all kinds of cool stuff, including the backup camera, audio info, cell phone contacts, etc. If it wasn't for the Nav system, none of that other stuff would be as good. It also works with the blue tooth and voice activation systems. I'm all for a Z28 with Navi.

Didn't have on-star and XM radio either. Just guessing but probably didn't have leather

Umm ALL CAMAROS should be able to get a nav screen! I would have paid the extra $1k to not have to stick one to my window and snake wires across my dash!

Why would you only have it on the Z28? I'm all for technology, but seriously. Why can't the V6 guys have NAV too?
