I think I am as excited as you are! Congratulations!

The gauges in the 5th Gen are cool, but maybe not quite up to Speedster cool factor? I see a full set of custom gauges in the dash and more adapted to fit in the console cluster You know, in your spare time

Thanks Pete !! I'll be talking to you about suspension adjustments... big surprise there. As far as the gauges, the Data Logger looks factory. We modified the center console and it basically goes right where the factory 4 gauge cluster would be. Color matched all of the trim too.

A-

No $#!t ?

That is awesome that you got your ride !!! Sounds pretty crazy as the rpm's climb, huh... It is low boost, but the part that always got me is that it still puts out just under 900hp at the minimum setting.

It is supposed to be picked up by the transport company later this afternoon. I am ecstatic that you did get out in it - You definitely deserve it. Now I feel better.

...and yes the suspension setting/tuning is the first task to do in FL. Going to get the new Lower Control Arms to clear the 345's, then corner balance it and get it adjusted/aligned.

-B

Did you get any pics or video ? Either you in the SST or driving around?

It's like expensive sunglasses... the amount you like it, is in direct correlation to how quickly it's going to get ruined.
... got grease on mine even after taking it off to protect it

Like the bandit said, "I only take my hat off for one thing."
Mine have seen some strange and wonderful places... that's all I have to say 'bout that.

I am trying to confirm pickup. You know my luck. While heading from FL to CA, on the leg from Phoenix to LA, the clutch fan for the the tractor trailer let go and took out the radiator. The dispatcher said that has never happened before and the tractor is a pretty new one. So they were delayed 24-48 hrs getting it repaired. They were going to send another rig, but it would have taken longer. Makes you wonder sometimes...

Hope it gets home by the end of this week.

In their defense, that is some treacherous mountain country in the summer, really overworks the cooling system... then again, dispatchers and lies go together like beans and cornbread.

I am bummed D !! Wanted to have it at Five Guys Thursday. They said it will be here Saturday... I will probably drive the wifey's Magnum down to Five Guys Thursday just to keep from withdrawals...

On a separate note, Tom at NRE called. He said the studio shots came out f'n unbelievable... Can't wait to see the pics. Will post a couple when they come in. On the flipside, I hear through the grapevine that the video is pretty insane. Will post that also when it is available.

Anyway, the SST is heading to FL...
