I so wish I could come to Pony Wars. But, alas, I can't get out of work.

Maybe I should fly? Would you still love me without my Camaro?

Of course! There will be plenty of Camaros and keys lying around

Latest update:

New shifter is installed. Presently making a boot to look "more" stock.
Will have zero shift issues with this piece.

Guess a high-rpm video will come after the weekend. We were thinking of bumping the rev limiter a bit for low boost. With a long duration cam, this 388 bore/stroke/solid roller relationship will rev to the moon.

With turbo's having to spool up for boost, how do you launch one? Is that why you would want the rev limiter higher?

It won't affect the launch, step on the loud pedal, dump the clutch... Instant boost...

I've heard that modern turbos don't have the spool-up delay issues that older turbos had. I think the more interesting thing will be figuring out how best to launch the car and keep traction. This will be fun to watch!

Hey Norm you could just buy Emma's engine and swap yours out, she could get the 427 Twin Turbo.......Just a thought....Don't forget we have the special installation tool.

There is no turbo lag on this setup. The total distance from the inlet through the intercooler to the outlet is less than 2 feet. That is as short as it gets.

Also, if necessary for poor atmospheric conditions or very high boost settings, the SST has a trans-brake. This lets me build boost at the line, wait for the tree to come down and then whammo !! off to the races.

The higher rev limit allows for a longer pull in each gear.

I have to drive right past the airport to get to Valdosta.......just sayin'

Of course, you'd be bored silly in my V6...., however, I would do some crazy driving to make for that deficiency!
