They probably give em a break because they haven't had to re-pave the streets since Nelson opened his doors

At this point it's looking like Wednesday, April 13th. Get in to LAX, nephew will run us up to Chatsworth, we'll grab the SST and head down to PHX. Looks like just over 400 miles of fun. And when the SST is full it has 34 gallons of gas so it has a good range at 20-25 mpg.

Ha - no problem. Didn't think you liked me anymore...

Sounds like the headers and pulley are a success. Just be sure to ping ProCharger about pulley that will give you the proper boost level.

I have made the drive to Palm Springs multiple times at "high" speed. The farthest west I have gone (by car)from Phoenix is Buckeye.

A LONG time ago I did the whole drive (cross country) in a 18 wheel flatbed with my buddy that was at C5Fest1 with the blue 67 Camaro "Mighty Mouse".

So haven't really done that whole drive in a car. Should be fun.

Any pointers ? (Other than stay cool and don't get sandblasted...)

... Seriously, especially if you guys convoy, the truckers will be talking so take advantage..... just don't call em "good buddy"
That long boring stretch after the climb out of the basin to the AZ state line can get you in trouble quick!

[interpretation]
When I returned them they were still in good condition.
[variation 2]
I waited till I was out of the service before I borrowed them.
