Love the reverse mohawk look. But I think this issue has been beaten to death, however it's all in good fun.

I like the enclosed feel of smallish sport coupes. Sat in a mustang the other day and I have to say I liked it. Way different from what I usually drive.
It's like you're in the contol center of some great machine. so yeah, no sunroof for me. Looked nice and big though. |

On the first day, I would have ordered a sunroof, but later, once I saw it I changed my mind. No sunroof for me.

I was in a serious debate on getting a sunroof or not...until my husband brought to my attention that we hardly ever use the one we have in our Tahoe. That sealed the deal on the reverse mohawk for us!

Hello!
|
I don't use the sunroofs in our current cars...so no sunroof for me!
Heck...even my daughter ask me if I was getting one on the Camaro and I said no since we never use ours now and she said...we have a sunroof in the car now? So...um, yeah, not getting one on the new ride! |

The sun roof in my wifes 01 PT Cruiser stopped working 4 years ago. For a lark I had my local Chrysler dealer look at it and they estimated over $1200 to repair it. Basically they needed to remove the whole roof liner and replace the ENTIRE mechanism.
I opted out and had them pull the fuse just to prevent anyone from opening it. The sun roof on my son's Sunfire leaked and rattled. So my luck with sun roofs isn't good. But I applaud GM for making one available for folks that want one. But no thanks. |

I have mine popped up almost every day of the year. Only time it's closed is if it's pouring rain. Pop it up, crack the rear windows and you get nice fresh air without all the wind of having the windows all the way down... I'll never give up my sunroofs (though TTops would have been even better...) |

Mine is intended to be a stripper Camaro with limited luxuries. Inasmuch, I don't want a sunroof.

I was going to order the sunroof and then saw what it looked like..... and promptly changed my order. I wasnt expecting it to project outside of the roof. So I will stick with the reverse mohawk.

No sunroof for me. Reason 1: Car is slightly more rigid with no sunroof, Reason 2: Just one more thing to leak (think T-tops).

None for me. Although I LOVE sunroofs, I'm not going that way exactly because of the mohawk. If I could get it with shaped glass and the mohawk, I'd totally be down. At least it will leave a little money for other goodies

It never fails that I'm driving at a time of day where the sun is right in my eye through the sunroof, and the "windguard" thingy makes the wind noise loud. That's my reasoning anyways. I do like to open it up late evening if I'm cruising at low speeds, but not any other times.

i always used the sunroof in my 91 explorer, but for the camaro, i say no. i don't like the 'flimsy' look when it's open. besides... the roof ditch is pretty sweet, and it's part of the styling that fits this car. the flat roof just looks like every other boring sedan.

I will admit I ordered the sunroof, but I will also admit that it looks terrible. I really would have preferred t tops or a targa top but the car I have now doesn't have one and I hate it.

This isn't the mid 90s. I refuse to drive a car with a sunroof that doesnt retract INTO the roof. Hardtop for me. I'll save the weight, keep the rigidity, and be able to wear a helmet in the car comfortably.
If the sunroof retracted like the on in my G35 did, I'd be all over that shit.
