Looks better than its predecessor, but oh the possibilities Dodge left on the table with this one.

Looks decent, of course that front end is V6 fare. Can't wait to see the real thing.

The back is what needs the most improvement. What does that look like on the new model?

That was my first thought, but it looks like they gave up after designing the front and left the rear end as is. Not a fan.

Dodge really dropped the ball on this one. They coulda made it look like a classic charger as per the rendering a few years back.

Im not saying its not a decent car..........im saying i woulda done a lot more.

The current version only looks good when it's decked out with all of the SRT8 trimmings. The regular v-6 model looks like a rental car or a fleet-type car.

x100 on they really dropped the ball with this CLASSIC nameplate. they should have called it something else, and saved the Charger name for when they decide to style a new model.

I think everyone in this thread has hit it right on. Dodge had the opportunity to make a really mean, nimble, sexy car. Instead, it looks like they just slightly changed the headlights (can't see the rear, but the overall shape is exactly the same) and called it a day. In my book you call this "Epic Fail" No incentive to buy this over the current model, but of course, we'll have to wait and see the real thing at launch

ewwwww...looks like a charger with celica side panels...
I like the current gen a lot, if they just sharpened it up a little without going too Japanese it would look modern and mean

I don't really think that this can even be called a new gen, more like a badly needed middle aged face lift. I can't really say that chrysler is to blame, it's more like they decided to put the much badly needed infusion of cash into more dire matters and for now went with just the face lift. Hopefully within due time a proper new gen will be revealed.

I'm not sure how much you're expecting them to change on a refresh but there isn't much left that they could change without calling it an all new car. The overall shape is the same because the changes are only skin deep. But even then, everything that you see is different from the current cars as far as I can see.

As for incentive, the interior is supposed to be vastly improved and there are going to be 2 new engines: a much more competitive V6 and a larger 6.4L V8.

I'll wait till launch to see the real thing. My biggest beef is driving dynamics, engines, and the rear. I think the rear on the current gen is FUGLY, so I hope they made it much better.
