So it is possible to run just the coilovers to get the proper stance? I really will not be tracking my car, I want it more for the look.

All of the GM owned Camaros at SEMA last year were on Pedders Xa coilovers. Jay Leno's Camaro was riding on Pedders Xa coilovers. Aside from the Official Pace Car look and the fact that the on track pace cars ran on Pedders you might want to see what they look like running hard http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100421 You'll get the look and a lot more...

Ok, reading the info on your site, it looks like I can keep my OEM Dampers and just use the Pedders coils? What drop will that get me? I am assuming the same drop with coils or coilovers, just with the upgraded dampers with the coilovers?

You can do the drop with our lowering coils and that is what a great many Camaro owners do. The on track pace cars ran Pedders coilovers and not lowering coils. A primary reason was the design aesthetic. They wanted the cars exactly the way they wanted them to look and not a millimeter higher or lower.

Ok, what is the difference in drop between the coils and the coilovers?

The coilovers adjust from just below OE ride height down three inches.

OE coils in general can have a height variance of +/- 15mm or 5/8s of an inch. To avoid issues with clients that lower their cars Pedders doesn't state the ride height as a drop. We state the ride height as the ride height 220032 Camaro front lowering coils ride height is 657mm with 22" wheels. To verify your current ride height take a tape measure and hook the metal end on the bottom of your wheel rim, measure up through the center of the wheel all the way to the painted edge of your fender. You'll find the front ride height to be about 690mm. Pedders coils have a ride height variation of +/- 1mm. With your current ride height and the Pedders stated ride height you'll know exactly where your Camaro will sit.

We have two rear coils for your Camaro 220033 ride height 660mm and 220035 ride height 675mm for those that prefer a bit more rake. The Berger Camaro sits on Pedders 220032 front and 220033 rear coils.

The Berger also runs the OE 275 rear on a custom made Forgeline wheel on the front and a 305 on the rear so they fill the wheel wells more than the OE tire and wheel setup on your Pace Cars.

Have your Dealer call our office at 248.522.8021 and we can take their order straight away. The coilovers are approved as of Wednesday August 11, 2010. The cataloguing at GMPP will take a bit longer. How much longer I don't know. We sent product for photography to their agency months ago. The photography has been completed and the product returned to us so

...and you'll be able to keep a reasonably smooth ride w/ coilovers vs. drop springs.
I'm having a hard time drinking coffee in the morning without spilling it on my shirt...

But I'm not complaining...
