Sorry, but I'm going to have to call
too much Photoshoping has been done to that picture to give it any kind of credibility.

The Camaro's headlights appear to have retained the halo, but are like the Bumblebee Camaro's headlights rather than the concept.
Not that I'm complaining, I like what I see. |

The pic on the wall could be anything. A Chevelle? I doubt it. GM has a few rear wheel drive veh's in the works and I doubt they would try to bring out another rear drive which would only compete w/ the Camaro. If GM were to bring back a rear drive, it would be to revamp the GTO or build a Firebird/TA. That's my guess. It could be a concept type Malibu or Impala.
The clay model? Hmmmm. I look at that picture and think it was taken a while back and isn't recent. Who knows.... I'm not looking too far into it. |

Those are NOT real lights, nor is that a real grille, or a real windshield...relax, no need to get upset. I've no doubt that that is the real camaro production version, but those are cardboard inserts, or plastic...pick one. You can tell they are fake by the way the light reflects off of them.
Cool find anyway - it looks lke one of GM's deep, dark, underground laboratorys |

Just some FYI. Seems the clay model is the production and the red car is the back end of the Camaro if I am reading that correctly. |

When I was younger I was really liberal with hair gel.
I mean, you could stab someone with my hair...no joke! But back to topic, I don't think that GM would release all 3 GM leaders standing in front of a "production clay model" if it wasn't the real deal. Glad to see they are making progress. You know TAG, it was you, I think, who said that it would be better to advertise a late release and release it earlier, then advertise on time and release it late. I'm beginning to think this might be the case!! |

Back in Black
|
I love how they are showing only a little bit at a time. Actually it makes me pretty mad. I want to see the whole car, and I want to see it NOW. If they hold off too long on the release date I could get impatient and buy a Challenger or GT500. I wouldn't want that to happen.

I betcha GM did it on purpose. You know they reviewed the picture before releasing it to the press to make sure they looked okay...the placement was okay...etc. They studied the hell out of the picture. They knew the car in the background was there....they knew.

Ooooh, those silly-guys.
Who's a little smarty? who's a little smarty? Who is it? Yes! You are - you pain in my Ass! RRelease another teaser why don't you. Test my already thin patience for 2009 a little more. I tell you - I'm having a real hard time waiting! But my only other option is a 'Stang, so I'll wait.

I agree with Hunter330123.
It could be the Chevy Volt. They introduced it around March/April. |
