Reverse/Backup Lights Help

Thinking about the new LED inserts. Cannot find any thourogh information on how to get to the back side of the lights.

I heard you have to take off the rear bumper.......

Really.... What if we have to change a bulb there. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Gary

You can get access to the taillight assembley by going through the trunk. Search is your friend.

Um, reverse lights do not equal taillight assembly

OP, yes, you have to remove the whole rear fascia to get to the reverse light assembly... PITA, I know, but from what the AAC guys said in the thread that mdinferno posted, it's not that difficult, so we shall see...

that's right my man. you have to take the rear bumper off. I needed to have one of my reverse lights replaced. the stealership had to take the whole bumper off. no way around it.

Yeah I already saw the AAC thread. I even asked the rep for the instructions but Justin said they were not available yet. He was the one that told me the bumper had to come off. No instructions on that thread that I saw.

Really would like to see the step by step instuctions first.

Last thing I want is to take the bumper off and have gaps and things after I put it back on.

I have already been under the car and in the trunk and saw nothing obvious. Pretty ridiculus if you have to replace a bulb.
