New location for 2011 Dash plaques

We tossed this around for awhile and tried different locations, but this is where we settled for the cars with HUD controls. We even have it contoured on the one side to match the surace it fits onto.

Thanks, Roger

Hope you dont have a lot of money in the new design...

2010 location

2011 location

Sorry, looks like it totally doesn't belong there. I love the look of the 2010s in the blank out area but this just looks bad... sorry.

We had some other ideas, but we did not like them after installation.

This car is not the first to get a dash plaque, since we have also been making them for other vehicles for years. We have already sold a few of these. However, the cars are not out that much yet, so we will see how it goes.
If anyone else has a better idea let me know, but along with criticsim should, or could come a solution, yes? Contribute to the greater good. right?
This was not my first choice either. However, the areas I thought would be good, do not look as good as this location does in person. At least to us.

Thanks, Roger

Roger,

I agree... I should have offered an alternate suggestion. Let me look and see if I can find anything... You will not top your 2010 location/badge. Its is the PERFECT thing to go there! They really screwed you on the '11 ... HUD...

Oh and thanks for not being a jerk off and taking the criticsim like a man!

I'm confused. Is there a HUD switch in the original 2010 plaque location? If so... can you post a picture... I'm curious.

The 2011 HUD controls are in the location where we used to place the dash plaques, so we are looking for an alternate location.
Not all 2011's will have HUD, the old dash plaque will still work for those cars

Thank you very much. I had no idea there was a switch there for the hud. Thanks.

I have the 2010 version its awesome when i seen the hud going there in 2011 i was thinking ouch for you guys on that mod. That new location to be honest im not feeling it. What about putting it way over by the right vent might work.

Well, we did not try it over there.

I think we are going to stick with this version, and also make available a style where the customer can place it wherever they want. This way the choice can be made.
It is a large dash area, and lots of locations are possible.

Thanks, Roger
