Idea(new?) for door handles -- interest?

I haven't noticed this anywhere before, so feel free to link any pics or something.

Since people paint the chrome bowtie area, I figure it's possible to paint the inside door handles?

Are those easily taken off / put back on, or a pain?

Be nice to get a painted set of those I think.

Any info? If not someone get started and throw me a set :P

Yes it's possible. I am not sure if it's either the carbonfiberspecialists or DSV but one of them does it in hydro carbon / carbon fiber. Painting it probably would be a similar process to painting the bowties. I am curious to know if anybody has a process for this though. It'd be a small/easy mod that could really make the interior pop.

Should not be hard but we have not done one yet. Also not sure how hard it is to put on or take off.

Alright, I think we've established no one has done this yet.

Let's start another question.

Who is interested in this?

I'm interested in a Synergy colored pair myself.

The inside door handles are part of the door panel and they are plastic welded.

In order to remove the inside door handles you have to grind the back part of the door panel and the only way to re-install is by adding screws.

TCFS would have to charge high price for the core exchange and since this is a plastic item which is use daily, its possible that is going to wear down sooner than usual.

For this reason, The Carbon Fiber Specialists has found a way to offer this item without core exchange, in different options (Real Carbon Fiber, Hydrocarbon, paint to match) and with no painful installation steps to follow.

Be on the look out for this product to be posted with in the next two weeks!
