Synergy Oracle and "Reverse Knight Rider" Light demo

Enjoy

Oracle Halo LED lights and interior footwell lights installed by Advanced Automotive Concepts in Metairie, LA. I installed the Inner grill LED's myself with the expert help of the Bald Ninja! Behind the grill are two strips of "Knight Rider" LED's controlled by a single controller box. They can do numerous strobing and scrolling patterns They are facing the rear of the car, illuminating the entire upper and lower grill areas.

Very cool! You did a great job! Where are the LEDs behind the grill? Not to close to the radiator to melt, are they?

cool!

They are directly across from the radiator. Between the top and bottom grills on the front bumper facing backwards. Plenty of space between them and the radiator.

Not a great photo, but here ya go. It looks like the radiator is glowing, but that is just the ambient light.

how were you able to sync the two LED bars to flash the same pattern at the same time?

I spliced them together into one controller box.

This is what I was going to do with the new 22 inch lights AAC has. I was also going to put one on the back underneath.

Looks great!!

Yep, that's the exact lights I have. I spliced two of them together on one controller box. (the original plan for what we were going to do with them was quite different, but we stumbled onto this on accident and ran with it.) Only difference is I paid about 1/4th of AAC's price for them. :-)

May have been me. I unfortunately have to journey across the river from time to time. I put way too many miles on this thing. I think there are one or two other Synergy's around New Orleans, but haven't seen another with the lights.

My Daughter's was the first Synergy that AAC installed on. I bought her car on March 1st, the first day they started delivering. I bought it as it came off the truck. The born on date is February 10th, 2010.

Yea, Shuffler. You are personally responsible for me buying this car when I didn't need one... and for the hundreds of dollars I've thrown into it since. But I'll let you slide, since I came over from a Corolla-S!

My born on date is 03/19/2010, so mine is towards the middle/end of the Synergy run. The video of your car is the one that got me to start doing all of this silliness to mine. Unfortunately, I'm a working man and I can't afford to do it all at once like yall did! But it's fun to have it as an ongoing project!

I'm thinking of ripping off my stripes before it's too late, and going with flat black hockey stripes and hood "spike" stripes.

Save me!

It's different from state to state. The main rules I have seen for most states are no flashing while on public roads, and no red and no blue. This may differ where you are, and there may be additional ones (I've heard no amber in some places).

At a car meet in town last night, there was little kid with his face jammed up to my grill talking to my car and getting mad that he got no reply. His parents must have been Knight Rider fans. lol
