You can put your Fuel injection from LS3 or L99 on that LSX 454 at SEMA GMPP had 1 in a G8 it is the same size.

I thought the LSXs could use the LS7 intake and fuel rails.

This could be the trick, if im right.

all the lsx and ls engines are the same size...and yeah i guess you could do that but id be interested in knowing if that would provide enough flow.

The LS7 and LS9 don't have fuel delivery problems, this shouldn't either.

i was just curious since Big displacement needs different air flow needs vs forced induction

the 454 is only 0.44L more displacement than the LS7. Thats a lot on a small engine, but once you're over 7L its not as big of a deal.

I talked to a GM rep at SEMA and he did say that the LS7 intake and injection is what is needed to feed the LSX 454.
I would love to have one of these motors.

Not true. LS3/LS7/LS9/L99 are different animals than LS1/LS2/L76.

The former have rectangle intake ports, the latter have cathedral intake ports. Gen III intakes (LS1/LS2) will NOT bolt up to Gen IV (LS3/LS7, and I believe LSX). And actually, LS3 intakes are not interchangable with LS7 heads, and vice-versa.

For the GM lSX 454 you need LS7 intake or this from FAST.

FAST has a new rectangular intake and 102mm TB now so the GMintakes won't be the restriction anymore.

I didn't think the FAST was coming out until April? And probably $900 give or take. And that's without the 102mm throttle body.
