anyone running new ZR-1 type wheels?

Just wondering. It seems like they would look killer IMO.

Yeah if they are on a vette they look ok but I don't like on a Camaro. The Camaro needs its own image and style and not copy a vette. Just my $0.02

The early Hennessey Camaro renderings showed it on ZR1 wheels. But, nobody makes a set that fits the Camaro properly. So, he went with a similar spoke pattern on the Savini Forged SV25s to finish the look.

Yep. I agree about the camaro needing it's own image. I like to see race inspired wheels on performance cars.

I love the idea of these wheels on my car, but was worried, initially, about them looking too small for the wheel openings. After seeing other cars in the Community running 19s, I feel better about it.

Nineball - is it the offset that's jacked, and if so, do you have any idea how much?

Thanks

radz28, both the cars I posted above have 20" wheels front/rear. That first one is just an artistic rendering, not an actual car. Remember, the ZR1 comes with 20" rear wheels from the factory. 19" only up front. Camaro does not look right with staggered diameter wheels, the tires are the same height front and rear. Corvettes and Vipers use staggered tire heights front and rear, so they look right with staggered wheel diameters too.

here is my car with the C2k's installed..
probably the wheel closest to the ZR-1.

BTW.. These are 18" wheels.. Not suitable for street driving.
They took a bit of work to fit.. I use these mounted with Hoosier's for autocross.

They look awesome installed!

There is also the TSW Crofts that are pretty close to the ZR1 wheels. OR if you want a deep dish look the Snettertons(sp). Both look real good IMO.

Yeah - I wasn't really planning on staggering, but thanks for pointing that out. I should've posted I'd have liked to have seen some reproductions in 20" for front and rear, because aren't the rear OEMs like 13" wide? You're totally right though
