...and it also has a rotary dim knob/switch so remember that you can dial in your brightness for day and night use.

Sweet deal!

Hi guys, I'm looking for someone who have done this install to help me out.
I live in Philly and not too far from central/south NJ, I'm willing to travel and pay for labor and meal lol.
I will help out too ofc~ I have done some interior work that involves taking steering wheel and center console out
But the photos with the entire dash taken off scares me......

For those of you who do get the HUD installed into your Camaro's, please remember to add your information to my list.

I have a stupid question. What information can be displayed with the HUD? I've been thinking of doing it but if you can only display speed and rpm's then it doesn't seem worth the cost to me.

Just got mine in the mail! Doing the install once I get back from celebrating Christmas in Toronto! Can anyone tell me how to test the harness and unit? I know you have to take off the gauge pack, but I am not exactly sure where to plug it all in

Once u have ur gauge pack out and disconnected. Plug the supplied harness into the gauge pack plug. Plug other end of harness into HUD and the last plug goes into the HUD switch. Set the HUD projector on ur dash. Turn on key. Turn HUD on with selector switch and it should work

@2SSRS, the write up was pretty straight forward, it wasnt very hard, i snapped pics of all the screws (types) so when i went back together i just looked at my pics it was not bad at all. the payoff is WEEEELLLLLLLLLL worth it and your harness worked so well. about 5-6 hours. what took the longest was pulling my kenwood out and getting it back in but that wasnt to bad either.

thank you

lup

So do the gauges on the center console become useless if you install the HUD?
