sprint booster . looks good ?

i was watching the speed channel, they were doing a 2010 camaro, and they recommend this plug and play device that helps pedal response?

not totally sure how it works... theres a video on the web page..

Has anybody tried one of these? I know that there is a torque management program associated with the throttle, this could be great. They didn't explain how the switch between modes works either.

i believe that a hand held tuner would do the same. if you want to go that route.

Never tried one. Under "how it works" on their webpage:

Sprint Booster does not increase Horsepower.

Sprint Booster does not reduce your 0-60mph times.

Sprint Booster DOES make your car 'FEEL' faster.

Sprint Booster is not for everyone.

Not sure what the hell it really does for you...

Sprint booster DOES take money out of your wallet for no good reason.

I had a customer with an '08 ZO6 buy one and bring it to me to install, his car had our stage 2 already but he gave in to the sales pitch. We both hated it. He was slower at the race track and hated it on the street. Not sure what it does on other cars but I found the throttle was no longer linear, it was just on or off, made the car uncomfortable to drive. If you want better throttle response, install good parts and get a good tuner to dial your car in with EFI LIVE or something similar, that is the best way to go.

It just remaps the throttle (or rather the pedal) sensor so that it thinks it's father than it really is. You gain nothing except if you're lazy and don't like to step down on your gas much. It's a waste of money. Save that $$$ for new muffler bearings. I hear there worth .02 in the 1/4 mile. lol
