Coolant fill tube blew apart

Today opened hood and the coolant tube with dipstick was all apart! Anyone else see that before? Must of been from the heat? It must of blew apart! The tube was just chilling, not connected. Dip stick was holding it so it did not fall threw to the ground.

I would suggest you have the vehicle checked out by your local dealership. They would be the ones best able to diagnose the issue with the vehicle. You should be covered for this fix under the 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, under normal circumstances. I hope that helps you.

My Dad put the tube back together and is still there. Did not take it to a dealer. Looks like that it just comes off with a half a turn.

I don't even think it turns too lock. The one I am working on just snaps in with a push.

I would still bring it to the dealer just to be sure there is not something defective.
