Start looking at Kits. TSP makes complete head and cam packages getting you close to 500rwhp. And Joe said it right.. If you know that your dead set on doing heads and a cam they need to be done at the same time, cause you have to take the heads off to do the cam...so why do that twice. I think LT headers, Cam, SLP pulley, port your throttle body and intake your gonna be looking at 490 rwhp and that's pretty street friendly once you have a good dyno tune.

Really not looking for a particular number. Heard the thr Camaro at nationals and want that sound. Only way to get it is a cam and headers. Thr said they can do cam/headers/3 in exhaust for 6k. Seemed kinda high. But I loved the sound so have to save up!!!!

HI EVERYONE!Just got home from an EXCITING day at ESTA DRAGWAY.Pulled onto the grounds and one of the officials called me over.He said he has never rode in the new 5th gens,so he wanted me to take him down the track.For the first time ever driving a stick car on a drag strip,ZENA perfomed admirably!!!!!!!Ran a 14.53 et at 99.36 mph in the 1/4!!!!!!!It was nice having a free practice run!!!Now come time trials,first pass ran headsup with a 3rd gen,we were both close on the light but at the end I got him by 1.79 secs.My et was 14.112 at 100.65 mph!!!!!!!!The next run was a little slower due to a little wheel hop in the first 60 ft,still had an et 14.594 at 99.83 mph.I saved the best for last with a run of 14.004 at 104.15 mph,with traction control on the whole time.You gotta love that no lift shift!!!!!These cars are everything they said they were and then some!!!!!!!!!!Igot beat in the first round on a breakout,I cuold not let the guy pass me!!!!!!!You guys have to make it to the test and tune at the end of this month,you'll love it.

I think that is the track I was looking at earlier. I totally wanna go i have never done anything like it before in my life.

To a good friend Andy ( Prez.)

I met a guy one day for the 1st time at my very 1st car show at the Windmill in Penn Yan . My wife & I just got a new Camaro ,it was like 10 days old . I found this forum on the web and asked if I could join the club. I had several replies in less than an hour. Mark C. And Andy were the ones I will always hold close. The open and warm welcome was so unreal it was hard to belive. As before all of this my wife & I were more a family thing, all work and kids no time for us. We were really not big on alot of people in our lives. So I asked the wife if we can try this , She said okay , I figured what do we have to lose . If it does not work out then we just go back the way we came . Nothing lossed .How was I to know what this would become . That guy I met for the 1st time told me one thing that has stuck with me for over a year now. He told me that our lives were all going to change and it would never be the same. I was thinking in my head ya right whats this guy smoking ? I want some of that stuff. But to my life how true he was , our lives did change and not in any little way . But in such a way the human mind can't belive. We have done more & seen more and have met more people in the last year than we have in the last 20 years. Just because we bought a Camaro and found one of the best Camaro clubs in the world . And were welcomed with open arms . And yes we all got our quriks but we are one hell of a FAMILY are'nt we ? We all take care of one another and have a hell of a good time doing it. You have shown us alot of good things Andy and when everything is in check & balance you will come home to see the family again , I know about reality checks , I've had a couple myself . But all things need to be taken care of and everything happens for a reasons . And it will all work out in the end. Family ,kids, & work is always 1st , everything else is 2nd . I learned this also . they are more important than anything in this world . Take it from me I have been around the world in the Military I have seen alot of things no one should ever see and done alot of things for Our country That I am not happy with but needed to be done so our children and loved ones are safe and have the freedom they have. It's called sacrifice! Some things are not worth giving up for other things .... Oh by the way the guy I met at the 1st car show was you Andy and all I have to say is you were right , Our lives did change ! I thank you & Mark for that ...........God speed my friend...............

.But I will miss you , now I will not have any one going postal on me anymore .But It's cool I always knew you'r bark was worse than you'r bite. And your a good man , take care my friend and take care of you'r family . You & your family are in our thoughts,
