I'm not 100% sure about the V6, but on the V8 you need a tune also to clear potential CEL's and get the most out of your LT's

That's another 3-400.00 to consider right there.

Personally, I considered shorties, but I got a SSmoking deal from Ron on those headers, so I couldn't pass up on it! (Thanks again bro)

I'm having LT's with HFC's installed monday and I'll let you know how it all goes bud. I was quoted 250.00 for the install from a reputable shop. Not nearly as expensive as I thought it would be. From what I've heard from speaking with folks who have had shorties installed, the install cost is comparable. I'm pretty stoked! Keep us posted on what you're going to do!
are you going to do the tune after or is the shop

A BIG thank you to all who came out and supported the Camaro Nationals in Frederick, MD this past weekend. We had 430 cars and raised $7,500 for the Silence of Mary Home in Harrisburg, PA. If it wasn't for the enthusiasts like you, this would not have been possible.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone back in Frederick next year!

Andy, next year I'm going to give you a key to my room. At least if I don't get back to the hotel in time, the beer is in the fridge! An ignition module, cap and rotor later.....

Yea I would have to get a tune with the LTs to get rid of the CEL. I am leaning towards LTs just they are expensive lol.

2 2012 ZL1's in Rochester Area

Hey All,

So with all of the excitment and some dealers charging over MSRP for the 2012 ZL1's you would think there would be none available correct? Looks like 55K+ for a Camaro is a little high for what many are willing to pay. It is an amazing car for the price, no question with that but still an expensive vehicle. A few months ago there was no way you could go to a dealer lot and see a ZL1. Things have changed already. There are 2 ZL1's in the Rochester area. One at Hoselton Chevrolet and one at Doyle Chevrolet. They show up on Chevrolet.com and the individual dealer websites. They have been on these sites for a couple weeks now. I called both dealers and they are currently unsold cars that are available. I wanted to let the forum know incase anyone was looking to pickup a 2012 ZL1. Take care all!

I assume we have a group stopping at the house before the final push to the Glen? What time? Do we need coffee? I will put a baloon out on route 14 next to the turn on Cross Road, another one at the end of my road (Welch Road), and another one at my driveway to help guide people in.
