2011 Negotiating $$

What do you guy think of the following "deal" if have on the table for a 2011 2SS\RS m6 IOM\IOM?

MSRP - $46375
Dealer Invoice - $42134
Current Offer - $44150

I wish GM Canada had some loyalty incentives or early lease buy-back to make the pot sweeter.

Any fellow Canadians already have their 2011 to compare deals with?

Not in Canada, so I don't know how much different your dealers are, but it's not difficult here to get one at or slightly above invoice. I got mine for $500 over invoice.

At this point in the game, I'd say that unless the dealer has done something to earn more than invoice, that is where you ought to be negotiating at.

There are some great dealers that I wouldn't mind paying more than invoice at...but that is because they have earned it by providing great service during the sales process instead of jacking around in their "negotiations" and operations.

Most dealers don't fall into this category though...they want to play negotiation games and tack on "extras" that are ridiculously overpriced. They love the paint protection, undercoating, etc...that typically cost them less than 100 to apply/install that they then price for 500-1000. These are the dealers that automatically get my "invoice price or nothing" stance...and I sure as hell won't pay for any of their add-ons...they can keep them.

At least in my area...I'd say the dealer's price is a little high still.

Got mine for around $50 under invoice. That seems high, but I am not in Canada.
