I really like these, and now that the price is down, I might just get these after I get my side markers, but I'm not sure about the installation. I'm okay with all the cutting and removal and such, but I'm not sure about the wire tapping considering the only wire tapping I've done is hard-wiring my radar detector to my mirror. How difficult is that part of the installation? Do the instructions explain how to do it?

If you hardwired your radar detector this will be a breeze!

Yes, the instructions go into detail. The wires you connect to are directly behind the taillight so there is no routing of wiring which makes it quick and painless.

Like stated above, this is a breeze. The wiring is easy and his instructions are awesome! Took me between 30-60 minutes (only because I was super careful with the trim rings...just like the instructions say!) Here they are installed. (with tint...of course)
