I am interested in the kit, I have a few questions.

1. are the leds white or red?
2. If they are white, does it make it look pink through the reflector?
3. If done in white, how come they weren't made in red?

please let me know asap.

The afterburner halos are made with Red LEDs.

I ordered the SMD afterburner LED's from Jonathan @ AAC. Wasn't that hard to do if you take your time and have the right tools. The hardest part was working up the nerve to cut the lenses off the tail light housings, but it wasn't bad at all. I took my time and the end results are worth it.

Are there any pics comparing the smd to the ccfl? I understand the smd is brighter I'm just curious of the look difference of the LEDs or single tube, and is the inverter included with the ccfl?

Yes, when you click the link to order there is a CCFL/SMD comparison. Yes, the CCFL includes inverters.

The CCFLs have a more subtle look to them in my opinion.

Actually after clicking the link...it just takes me to the regular website..then you have to click ENTER to get in and when I choose the afterburners (after clicking Chevy from the left) they are 199.99 before shipping.
