I'm running Mobil 1, as indicated on the Oil Cap, and it recommends that you use Moble 1 synthetic oil, in the owner's manual, if I'm not mistaken, for best performance, the choice is up to you.

As for the other items, I'm sure you can get those done at any performance shop and/or dealership. If you want a couple of suggestions, just PM me and I will provide you the names, that way I don't ruffle any feathers on the site.

In my oppinion there is no ''going'' rate. however SPI offers what they call the 'Z28 Handling Package', and I would advise / recommend / suggest / advocate SPI as THE BEST place to go when dealing with your Camaro.

SPI has their own camaro, that is modified
They are familiar with the car, both the 6 and the 8.
They have unbelievable customer service
You will NOT be disappointed.

Give them a call.
Also P.S.,
ALL, and I mean ALL of my work goes through SPI, I don't care who, where, or what other places can offer/do for me, I will never go anywhere but SPI.

Call SPI, They can inform / educate you on any question you may have so you make the decision on an informed level.. not just best guess.
thanks

BOB

Asylum I have read your write up numerous times...great car!!!

i too like the sleeper aspect....in the past when i first bought my 87 buick gn in 1989 many people knew very little about the car...i cant tell you how many older hot rodders i would give it to.

a small 231ci v-6 with a turbo,,,they would laugh, but after the first 60 ft that smile was gone

i want the same sleeper feeling with this car, much like your stealth idea

SPi looks and sounds fantastic

if i go FI it will be with small twins, but that will be in the future

for now i want to lower the car
put on a heritage grill with SS emblem instead of the bowtie
black out the rear bow tie
cold air induction either ADM or CAI
and maybe an axle back borla s

thanks I hope to meet alot of you guys soon

Well for the rear bow tie do it yourself its super easy and a better fit then the pre made ones imo. Here is a video how to do it http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74118. To get some vinyl go to a sign shop should cost less then 10 bucks.
