You sure can, and I would say the Vette is a great looking car from GM and the 05-09 Mustang's are flat out awesomeespecially with alittle modification such as removing the fog light's from the grill. I could mention many other's if you would like those are just my favorite's. Actually I will add one more the Pontiac G8 is a great ride as well they just needed to address the featureless interior.

I would like to point out that yes we all know the Camaro out power's the Mustang there's no doubt. However GM had at least 5 year's to put a car out there that was better than an already existing car while Ford had nothing from GM to compare there's too. And now that the Camaro is here they have there chance to beat the Competition. And like I said they did'nt do a good job with the redesign IMO but neither did GM again IMO.

Just because you dont have problem's with warranty issues does NOT mean that there arent many other's on here reporting having problem's getting them to fix there's. Of course it's outselling the mustang it's been gone for 8 year's there are going to be people that wnat them but just because it's outselling the Mustang right now does'nt really mean much how many of them are rental car's and how many are just sitting on lot's waiting to be sold and the awnser is many and check autotrader and whatever local source's you have before replying. I can come up with several hundred Camaro's with in a few hundred mile's using autotrader alone so dont tell me they arent just sitting there for that matter I can go to my local dealer and pick up 5 that have been SITTING there for probably over a month now.

Doesn't GM release/leak the specs months in advance, just like the 5.0 was leaked for the 2011 GT?

The 11 pound difference between the auto SS and the gt500 is certainly not enough to make up for 140+ hp as originally insinuated.

No. They had 3 years at most due to contractual obligations/issues with the St. Therese plant. Jan of 2006 was the first time they were able to put a Camaro out there. The concept was build in 30 days (so they say)...and put out there for "fun". The overwhelming response resulted in approval...but they weren't considering it until that concept came out (There's a rumor that it was frowned upon to even mention the name).

Thank god, im so glad to be in a place where the universe is balanced, LOL, the SS should be compared to the GT and the GT500 should be compared to the Z/28, i get SO TIRED of hearing Ford guys complain about how the SS should be compared to the GT500. Im sorry, you mean "my car sucks so bad that you should have to beat its higher trim level for the bragging rights" You know, for Ford fans they really have little faith in the GT Mustang, lol.

For your paper i would note that the Camaro has over 100 more horsepower, a 6-speed compared to Mustang's 5-speed, costs only $2-$3k more while being built to higher standards with better materials (Motortrend noted the poor door seals and large body gaps in the 2010 Mustang) Note that the Camaro outsold both its competitors for 4 straight months and counting, that its the most popular car on the road right now, i would also mention how the Mustang attracts no attention when parked next to a Challenger or Camaro, the Camaro hit more notes on what a 21st century Muscle Car should be than either of the other two in power, quality, and styling....also dont forget to mention that the SS Camaro is only about .2 seconds off the quarter mile time of the GT500

I am a true racer, I have raced all kinds of drivers in all kinds of cars, you win some and you lose some, but the difference between a GT500 and a Camaro SS are not that far off at all. It's time to admit this.

Ok so if it was month's in advance it still take's time to make something new certainly many many more month's. Espcially if Ford was working on a completely new engine unlike GM wich already have several version's of the engine's they use.

And that was my point.

Mainly because it seem's that many forget or dont realize this when bashing on the Mustang. I have nothing against the Camaro but I dislike it when people makie it seem like the it has been around all this time and Ford did nothing to compete with it when in all reality that is not the case.

GM is currently working on their new generation of engine...just because Ford is releasing info on their new products and GM isnt doesnt mean you should completely ostracize them...besides, every LS engine is its own entity done up with similar technology, at least we have variety unlike Ford's "would you like the 4.6? Or would you preffer the 4.6? And keep it hush hush but we also have a 5.3 for $18k more if you're willing" ...sheesh...
