D3 Supercharger for the V6 Camaro
Hello everyone. I spoke with an engineer over at D3 today about the possibility of a supercharger for the V6 camaro. For those who don't know D3 is currently testing a supercharger for the v6 Cadillac that uses the same motor in our V6 camaro. They said they are contemplating the idea, however they are unsure if there will be a great demand for it. He said that if we were interested in it, then we need to make our voices hear, he advised to either email D3 at info@d3cadillac.com or call them. So if interested let's start making it known.

There's not way I'll touch the motor until my warranty runs out. . . Way to damn many things can go wrong when you start Turboing or Supercharging motors.

^^^ i feel the same way, im not touching it except for CAI and exhaust until warranty is up, but once it is i will definitely go the supercharger route not tt

so they wont if you wait till after the Warranty goes off? waiting to do something because your counting on it breaking your engine doesnt make sense. Either Way you are without a warranty.

^^^ yeah but having other problems unrelated to FI not being covered under warranty doesn't make sense to me, and I don't expect to have problems only running around 4psi on a sc but gm certainly will say they do when under warranty

If I was getting a V6 Camaro I'd be interested in a supercharger for it. But yeah I'm not getting a V6 Camaro...

What type of SC? Price range?
What sucks is that GM decided to give the 6 weaker trannys that are rated just over stock power. One would need to do a race build tranny. Funny thing my V6 had a race build after it went out. I don't think there will be that much interest from the camaro side, but the cadillac side should add some sales. Together maybe it will be worth it. They need to put that engine in more cars so it's more common.

well I would definitely be interested in one. My question is how different would it have to be to get the super charger to work on the camaro? they are the same engines but different engines bays. I might not even need a dedicated kit from them for the camaro. I could probably adapt the CTS one.
