I have been searching high and low for old school, muscle car chrome

Specifically, I like from the Legend Series:

I'd say the Double 5 or the Spectrum would be my favorite

I know, finding what makes you happy is hard. I look at other people's choices of wheels and cringe! Yet I know they think they are the bomb! It's all about taste. I really love chrome/high polished wheels that are old school. I've been on EVERY major wheel manufacture's site and none of the spoke to me like these wheels did. Now, I need to save up my money so by next Spring, once our car comes out of hibernation, I can put new shoes on her

A lot cheaper, but you may like them if you're looking for classic style/Muscle car category chrome wheels (my brother has these on his '67):

I have Foose Legends which are way cheaper. Of course they're made in a China sweat shop too.

I like the look of the wheels but not for the camaro. I think the car needs a modern style. Of your picks the crown jewel would be my choice .

Yes, they are expensive. That's the downside. The upside is they are forged wheels which = VERY high quality.

OK, I think I've got it narrowed down to the one Boyd Coddington wheel that I want: It's Junk Yard Dog and it's on this Mustang. Absolutely gorgeous!!!:
I think they would look stunning on an IOM Camaro. Hubby knows someone in the tire/wheel business that OWES him big time so I think we can possible get a deal on these. We'll see. If not, we will go with OEM Chromed wheels.

Dang, I see that! However, I don't see where the Chrome one's come in 20x9 and 20x10 which are the wheel sizes we want. They only come in 20x8.5. Which stinks because I really like these!!

They would look awesome on your car! I don't know if I'll get them. If I do it won't be until Spring. In the mean time, I'll keep my eyes open on Craigs list and Ebay. You never know! I may find a deal on them!

Some of those do look very good! I would love to get some old school Cragar S/S for mine, except in an 18" or 19". Cragar does make some 18" but they are 30lbs a piece. I'm hoping they come out with a lighter version.

Not always. I actually have the Boyd Junk Yard Dog wheels on my 1970 Chevelle. They are some of the worst quality wheels I've ever bought. The areas around the lug nuts are paper thin in some areas, and two of them showed up with big nicks in the lip - without any damage to the boxes. They also took me 3 months to get. These are low-end 2-piece wheels. I fairly certain the centers are still cast aluminum too, not CNC machined. Mine look good from 10 feet away.

So you want old school muscle car wheels and you haven't looked at a set of chrome Torq-Thrusts?

Well that's disappointing! Thanks for chiming in about it. I guess you pay that much just for Boyd's name then. They look high end.

Thanks for the info! That is disappointing. We are still looking at all options. I like the style of Boyd's wheels. If I can find something similar that costs less, I would be a very happy camper.
