hmmmm

I would like to point out (haven't read to many other posts) that the Z-28 test mule with the 6.2 supercharged had dual tipped exhausts... So i mean the whole body work isnt amazing, but this could shape up to be very similar to a production car of the Z-28 plus the similar ZR1 body kit. i dont like every changed aspect of the car, but there are similar things...

Alright after reading and looking at the pics more i understand why its really extreme. The camaro is becoming very common. I know you say dont change the car every movie, but in all honesty the other cars are beefed up beyond their stock body... accept the ferrari, no need to touch a ferrari... but really its for the kids, they wanna see a decked out bumblebee like batmans changed suit, bumblebee gets a face lift. They arent changing actors or cars, they are doing their best to improve them like they will try to improve the movie from the previous one.

And lets face it yall, these movie buffs dont know crap about cars, or care about appealing to us. Its about the audience. The whooollee audience

Annnnnddd i believe most of this is the Z-28 but in no way all of it. Too extreme of a change from the SS. I love the vents and the tips! the rest ehh its okay to see in a movie

Did anyone notice that they changed the Corvette Stingray concept from a coupe to a roadster? Damn good looking Corvette. I'm not feeling the BB3. Leno's Camaro would have made a better Z-28. Subtle but different. Or something from JINX. Jmo.

That's going to be a tremendous let down for me if this is what the Z/28 is going to look like. I won't be buying one if that's the case.

Another reason I hate transformers, they took the hottests car on the road and turned it into a halfway ricer.

Why GM why must you cheapen your product so? I am now convinced that the guys who designed the Camaro probably hold disdain for the ricers that designed bumblebee. I almost want bumblebee to be a different car.

Big thumbs down to whoever is responsible, I hope GM accomplishes their advertising campaign successfully in spite of making the Camaro look like a fast and furious set piece

Read all the posts and found them interesting.
Pics of the "movie style" Camaro are great.
If the "wing" is functional I would want one on my Z-28. If you're a wazer, you won't want one.
Rest of the car looks terrific. Stripes, I am sure, will be optional. Funny to read all those getting their panties in a knot about the stripes.

Sit back, enjoy the ride. The Camaro is a terrific car and the new upgrades should be awesome. That exhaust just might be like the ones on my Z06. I have the fob to switch it on and off. It works great when you want to quiet down the exhaust.

Now if they could just drop 4 or 500lbs off the car, and upgrade the suspension...WOW!!!!

So I posted this in the other thread about the new "Z28"

The new 5th Gen. Camaro was introduced through this movie, and as someone pointed out the concept Camaro was revealed at the auto show back in 2006, but in 2007 when it was used in Transformers, it made the car just as popular and got more peoples attention.

So we kinda got a taste of what the car was going to look like when the 2010 Camaros were released in early parts of 2009.

I think here we are looking at the new Z28, except for the spoiler I hope

So here is what I have gathered and have tried to compare, because it is starting to make sense. Discretely put it in the new movie and get everyone all excited again. Plus all the excitement of the new test photos!

We have all seen this photo... here you can notice the same chin spoiler, and grill.

Name: z28 front.JPG
Views: 2162
Size: 151.8 KB
Name: T3 front.jpg
Views: 2338
Size: 428.1 KB
Here you can compare the new bumper styles, larger vents, and new grill along with chin spoiler like in photo one above.

Size: 348.6 KB
Name: transformers3-bumblebee-camaro-5.jpg
Views: 2167
Size: 502.3 KB
Here you can see the new exhaust design, both the same.

Name: z28 brakes.jpg
Views: 1850
Size: 365.4 KB
Name: t3brakes.jpg
Views: 1830
Size: 441.3 KB
And last you can see brakes that seem very similar to the CTS-V style brakes that everyone has been pointing out.
