Easily, it's 2000. Up until 3400, it can be changed but it requires a good amount of work from your dealer and begging. 3400 and higher, there's no turning back at all.

you can change anything you want when the dealer calls you up with his allocation .it will be on a thursday and you have to the following tuesday to make any changes as long as there are no constraints on what you want .so i wouls say 1100

This what the dealer gave me when I ordered my C/E. It is the Vehicle Order Event History. After the 10/15 date, I don't have much info.

1100 Preliminary Order Accepted 8/30/01
1101 Preliminary Order Added 8/30/01
2000 Accepted by GM 9/3/01
2500 Preferenced 9/5/01
3000 Accepted by Prod. Ctrl. 9/6/01
3100 Available to Sequence 9/18/01
3100 Available to Sequence 9/22/01
3400 Broadcast 9/26/01 - 10/11/01
4000 Available to Ship 10/10/01
4120 Internal Invoice 10/10/01
4160 Credit Invoice 10/12/01
4150 Original Invoice 10/12/01
4200 Shipped 10/12/01
4300 Intermediate Delivery 10/12/01
4200 Shipped 10/15/01
4300 Intermediate Delivery 10/15/01

The whole "shipped, intermediate delivery, shipped, intermediate delivery" thing was because the Ste. Therese plant sent the car off to ASC for it's WS6 upgrade, which was normal for all WS6 cars.

But from 10/15/01 to 11/20/01, the car sat in a quality hold at the plant.
It finally shipped out on 11/20/01 at 10:16 AM EST.
It arrived at the Selkirk railyard on 11/24/01 at 12:30 PM EST.
The car arrived at the dealer on 11/26/01 at approx. 3:30-3:45 PM EST.

The rail trip was basically from Montreal to just south of Albany, NY and the hauler carried it from Selkirk to Syracuse.

I hope this helps some people understand the time involved.

I did what I should have done all along, asked my dealer to switch the interior to IOM and the striping to CGM and I just hit 2000 on the 9th.

Done.... recieved the updated workbench sheet this AM....I am so glad I pulled the trigger on this, I was skeptical about the big plastic orange door panel, but I'll get over it, that interior as a whole is just to inticing to pass on.

I saw the IOM interior in person on a SIM SS and it was awesome. That's the kind of interior that just blows people away when they sit in your car.

I don't think "typical" is a part of the process as of yet :(

I think 4B00 is between 4104 and 4200

becauase I am at 4B00 and my event history does not show 4200

There are some cars that apparently have showed bayed 2 or 3 separate times so, yes, it could appear elsewhere also.

Highly unlikely (but one never knows the way things have been going). I was at 3400 for around 2 weeks without movement and so was my (local) friend when his was made. Don't mean to rain on your parade. :(

There is no parade left to rain on

I am just sitting at 3000 and can't understand why it hasn't moved....can I call the Chevy customer service number and find out anything? I am just confused on how this week was supposed to be my TPW, and I am still at 3000?

Another thread refers to TPW's are off by 2-3 weeks. My TPW was this week too. I ordered 10/13 and still at 3000.

I believe it's 2000, I went to 2000 on 4/9 , changed it on 4/11 and was at 3000 by 4/14.
I've read no changing once your at 3000

My experience is that it depends on where you check the status.I mean,I checked a particular order in vehicle order inquiry it was at 3800.I found the same unit in another area of globalconnect and it was at 4B00.Don't know why ,just was.
