MGW Shifter Review

I recently had a MGW short shifter installed in my Camaro by Eric at Torque in Miramar, FL. They did a great job and are a pleasure to work with.

I am very happy with the shifter. It is very positive and almost notchy, but still smooth and is a huge improvement over the stock set up.

The spring tension is pretty high which makes second to third shifts and downshifts from fifth and sixth extremely positive. The length of throw is much better than stock, but not as short as some that I have seen. This can be adjusted shorter, but for my purposes it is perfect as is.

There is absolutely no rattling/vibration/noise in this unit. I have seen and used others that have that annoying vibration and sound transmitted to the shifter. This has none of that.

The MGW is a very high quality shifter and I can highly recommend it.
