LSA supercharger on Ebay

Wanted to know what it would take to get this supercharger to fit and how much power with a stock cam.

it should be a direct bolt on. the stock psi will be too much for a un forged ls3 though

9psi I believe. Might not be out of the realm of possibilities on a stock motor. I don't know much about them. Everything can be changed.

I think most of the other aftermarket kits are at 8psi will 1 psi really make a difference?

The LSA doesn't have forged internals...or so I thought.

lsa does have cast pistons and pauter rods. the lsa also has piston oil squirters that the ls3 does not. the lsa makes 7psi.

you will need all new accesories and crank pulley as well.

well if other superchargers are running higher psi on a stock LS3/L99 engine. you shouldnt need forged internals, the LSA might use forged parts for extra precaution but it isnt required.

LSA SC will NOT fit under the cowl without modifications! Look for some posts by Uncle Robin and his LSA-powered SS. He had to cut up the upper rear of the intake to get it to fit under the cowl.

It looks like it didn't fit under the COWL, not the hood. Just buying a hood would not solve the fit problem.

Sorry
Danny

I would disagree with this, with stock boost it should be fine. The LSA doesn't have anything special for engine components, still cast pistons, and weak rods. Yes is has a little lower compression but it should be fine.

It will also directly bolt to your ls3, you will have fabricate inlet to the blower and then change of the drive system on the front of the engine to accommodate the larger ribbed belt used by the blower.

Regards

Not too much boost for a stock "non-forged" ls3. I can attest.

Hey that's some nice work done on that cover. If that's the case then you could probably go with something totally fabbed up from Hogans Racing Manifolds that would really make your car stand out.

Huh? The LSA is 556 Horsepower in the CTS-V.

A TVS 1900 Supercharger is capable of movng enough air to produce 800 Horsepower.

Mine is about 700 right now.

Robin
