Brake Squeal-fixed

Just as an FYI, I had the service bulletin for the brake pads completed today and my brakes are finally silent.

My brakes squeak like hell, but on a 2lt. I took it to the dealer and they said it was normal. I can even hear it while driving slow and no brake applied. Is there any fix for the v6's?

Not trying to jack your thread, glad yours is fixed!

I have the Brambo brakes, if yours are Brambo the bulletin should cover it...

I had the same thing done about 500 miles or so ago. The original fix was with the roller skate weights but that didn't work (my car came with them) so they put new pads on the front. I just don't know what kind they were. I know I posted a TSB about the Brembo's squeaking- let me see if I can find it.

I'm sorry slick, but I didn't ask them what kind of pads they used.
It was thanks to this forum that I knew about the TSB and asked the dealer to apply it.

My brake pads were worn down on all 4 differently
The dealer said they never seen it on any car so upgraded the whole brake system
You should've seen there faces when they were looking
