Smile Coyote Camaro Club of the Southwest

Sounds official doesn't it? Was wondering if anyone knows of any Camaro clubs in Arizona and if anybody out there is interested in creating a new club for Camaro owners in the Southwest? I am a manager at a Chevy dealership and could arrange to use our conference facilities to meet and get us started. I think the possibility is there for a large membership. Let me know your thoughts.

Unhappy Is there no interest out there?

Nobody is responding to the Camaro Club. I guess I will see if there is some interest locally.:(

I'm not sure we even have a dedicated Camaro club in Tucson any more.

Lots of Chevy clubs, and classic car clubs. I would have to feel around for interest here for a few months and see what kind of responses I get.

I am 15+ years with Gateway Chevrolet in Avondale, AZ. As of today, we are selling at MSRP with no addendums or adds. Of course it will depend on what if any rebates or incentives GM chooses to put on the Camaro. I ordered mine at GM Supplier Price which is quite a savings.

Thats good news, I'll be ordering at Supplier Pricing also. My family has bought all of our chevys in the last 15 years from Gateway or Joe Gambino back in the day. I'm being told I have to buy the wife a Malibu before my Camaro, only a small setback.

When do you expect to have a Camaro on the lot to test drive?

Should have a demonstrator by the end of March or at the latest first week in April assuming no setbacks from GM. As of now there are no delays.

May be tough to get just Camaro guys together.

What about a Modern Muscle club or just Muscle all years?

I would be interested, used to live out in Estrella, in Hawaii now. We are trying to get a little group together out here.

"CCC of the Southwest"

We could open the club to all years of Camaro and to those who have a passion for Camaro's. Leaves it open to whom ever. I will be getting all the forms completed with the State of Arizona for exempt not for profit organization, so that we are ready to roll.

There has to be plenty of us out there in Phoenix with just the 2010 Camaro. Buzz said his allocation was 40 for all his stores. They're all spoken for. There are plenty of other Chevrolet dealerships in Phoenix that have sold all their allocations as well. There must be a few hundred Camaro's sold just in Phoenix.

We had a total of 18 allocated and all are spoken for. Buzz is a bigger dealership than we are. We have four available for sale which were allocated to us by Chevrolet. We have two (2) SS, (1)LT and a LS. As of today they are still available for sale.

Update on the CCC Club. We can use our conference room for meetings. Also the owner has agreed that any member of the club can receive a 10% discount on any parts or services. How cool will it be to have all Camaro's parked in front on a meeting night! Guarantee it will stir up interest and conversations. Till next time.

I'm in! I should send my son over to your place. He lives off 59th and Utopia in Glendale. He has been dragging his feet on getting a Camaro. I've been taking $200 per month out of his paycheck for three years so he could get a Camaro. When my brother and wife start talking about my old 68 Camaro he starts to drool.

If I did not HATE driving to Phoenix I would join you all...

On a side note, My dealer had 25 allocated I know a couple are going outta state... never checked on the other dealers, but I would have to guess there will be less than 50 of these things driving around before they hit the lots.

Count me in!

It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday James and if anyone is looking to buy a new Camaro you should give Gateway Chevrolet a look. They are one of the few dealers in the valley selling at MSRP!
