PFDAT or Eibach?

What does everyone think? I'm either getting the eibach springs and sways, or the PFDAT springs and sways. Which is better?

Without a doubt, PFADT. Eibach makes a good lowering spring but Pfadt springs not only lower your car but are designed to optimize handling, ride quality, and longevity. If you can swing a little extra dough its definitely worth it.

Eibach springs and sways always tried and true (and not as expensive).

Pfadt FTW - also consider changing the endlinks at the same time. I first did the Pfadt Sport Sway Bars back in January (immediately felt the difference, the Camaro is on rails in curves) and should've upgraded the endlinks then though Pfadt's were just coming to market. I just installed Pfadt coilovers, trailing arms, control arm stiffeners/bushings and the endlinks - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97961

Pfadt earned my business from Aaron's pms/emails with me on my questions - you can pm him with questions to Aaron Pfadt

agreed, if you upgrade sway bars you have to upgrade the end links, we won't sell a sway bar with out upgraded links for the Camaro

Pfadt's product line up seems to have a little more engineering into its design, although both products are nice, I would choose Pfadt for their superior design and engineering testing.

There are lots of choices out there, though. Don't limit your choices. There are lots of Sponsors here who'd be happy to help you. But to your question, PFADT

Not that this means anything because I am sure Eibach outsells every manufacturer on here but we have sold over 100 sets of our swaybars already, all with very positive feedback. This is the Fifth generation of this platform that we manufacture swaybars for and was by far the most challenging bars yet. A lot of effort went into the design and the result is a swaybar that will wake up your Fifth gen and make it "feel" like it is 1000 lbs. lighter in the corners! But enough about BMR, let our customers do the talking:

[WE_Coyote;2124520]I just installed the rear BMR sway bar. I was not expecting a lot of improvement over the factory bar but was pleasantly surprised! I'm constantly reminded of the improvement every time I take a corner. I got the black hammertone finish and was very impressed with the quality of the piece. It was also easy to install, I just removed one wheel and sild the factory bar out sideways and slid the BMR bar in the same way. No need to drop the exhaust.

Saving my pennies to get the front bar...

Nice job BMR!!

---------------------------------------------------------

[jrhaus76;2125015]I had the rear bar installed for about 2 weeks prior to the front... got the rear before the fronts were fabricated and counldn't wait to install it! Adding the front is AWESOME! I have been running both for about 2 months now... WOW! Brett is right, its nice to be able to go to the middle holes! I have not had the guts to try the stiff holes! It is like its on rails as it is. I suggest springs too!

---------------------------------------------------------

[Drew10;1940277]I just installed BMR sways on my car and they are worth well more than what they are selling for. Along with the lowering springs they have made an very noticable difference in the handling of my car. I also like how both the front and the back are 3 way adjustable depending on how you plan to drive your car. You nailed it BMR!

---------------------------------------------------------

[mlee;2111855]I have the front and rear sway bars on now... They are awesome...
Next is trailing arms, strut tower brace and probably tie rod ends.

A little off topic but does anyone know the spring rates on Pfadt springs or is it some big secret?

Can i quote you on that? lol

Your sway bars make a Camaro "feel" 2800 pounds?

I think i'd have to say that's a bit of a stretch, but nice marketing attempt.

They come with a pic of the blonde in his sig, to hang from your rearview. EVERYONE knows that staring at a hot chick makes everything feel lighter.

No secret at all, it just better to state a percentage increase over stock from our standpoint, because a linear spring rate value is not completely straightforward to measure. Our lowering springs have a rate increase of 40% and the rear rate increase is 15%.
