New 2011 Camaro Ordered. Question about shipment.

Hello everybody. I'm new to the forums so this is my formal hello. I ordered a new 2011 camaro about a month ago. Its the 1LT with some extra features. The car salesman said it would be about 6-8 weeks to get the car in. I know this car is a hot item so wait may be longer. Anyone know how long the wait will really be?

Thank you.

Ordered mine on 5/27/2010 and got it on 7/15/2010.
Built on 6/24....The rest of the time is transit from Canada to dealer via rail and truck.
It can take a week or more to get loaded on a railcar..

Are you tracking the order on Camarotracking.com?

Depends if the dealer had allocation to actually SUBMIT that order to GM to get built. If so, 6-8 weeks is correct.
