Post Sunroof confusion

This is my first post, and I've searched for this answer, but am still confused. What I've read here seems to indicate that the sunroof only opens a few inches, as a vent, but the Dealer ordering workbook specifically says it is powered and has "express open and venting". What would be the need for express open if it only opens a few inches? It would either be open or closed if it has that small an amount of travel. Or am I missing something? I guess I'm hoping it's more than just a vent....

ordering this week, if I can choose a dealer...(my local dealer is gouging...10,000+ over MSRP as of 10-17-08)

2SS
CF5 (maybe)
WRS
Q9J
GAQ
AFN
VYV
Fuel Door
Grille Insert
Subwoofer
Catback
Air Intake
Shorty headers

Anyone know if Newman Chevy can drop ship to northern California? Thanks in advance for not flaming me ..

There ya go. It actually opens and slides back over the roof of the car.

What it means is that you can just barely push the button and it will pop it open on the back side like a vent or push the button past the detent (like the express down side windows) and it will open fully like a normal sunroof...and as the picture shows it opens to the outside like most GM sunroofs do now...

It will have full auto one touch open and close, as well as one touch vent and close.

a removable one like the fiero would've been cool.

and it could give everyone who wanted t-tops something they would still have to pull of the car and store in the trunk.
