Can any dealers tell me the pay310&CU discount for the following....?

I'm looking at a 2011 RJT/black - 2SS/RS - MT - Polished aluminum wheels...37140 MSRP. It's a demo with 500 miles for 35300, but the dealer says he'll order me another at invoice if I don't like the mileage...but invoice seems high to me and I can't find a Credit Union discount number on the GM site for a 2011. I have to pay an extra 550 in sales tax if I buy in his county, so I'd like to know my numbers to decide if I want to buy from him, or try again with the local guys.

This car as 2010 was 35372 pay310 and 35762 CU. It went up 350 MSRP, from 36790 to 37140 but the pay310, according to his dealer, is 36260..almost 900 more. The more I look for this car, the more disgusted I get. I'm about to give this up after 22 months. If nobody wants to reply, that's fine. I don't need the grief I got last time I asked about invoice.

Thanks if you reply, thanks if you don't.

Glad I'm not buying a Volt...they're supposed to be 20,000 markup. sigh

You may want to double-check that. DMV is pretty good about charging you fees for the area you LIVE in, not the area you purchase. One reason that buying out of state doesn't matter... as soon as you register, you have to pay those fees, NOT the sales tax of the state you buy in. El Cajon (nearby city) has an extra 1% sales tax on all items... but it doesn't apply to cars, because they go off the zip of your home.

Credit Union program means you get the car at "Preferred Pricing." I believe invoice is lower than preferred...I'm sure Anna can verify this or set me straight!

It depends on the specific dealer's advertising charges as to whether or not preferred is lower or higher than 310.
