Hello All,

SOLO Performance now has a new and improved website. The site has more comprehensive product specifications, as well as updated pricing. With the rising cost of stainless steel, we have decided to keep our pricing stable. This ensures that we will be able to continue delivering quality products at affordable prices. Visit our site at http://www.solo-performance.com and see all of our products for your Camaro. You can order directly off of our site, or call me direct to order at 516-655-9002 (7 days a week, until midnight EST). Have a great day and thanks for the support

Steve, Jeff, and the SOLO Crew

Couple questions for you Steve & co.
1. Have you heard any dealer reactions? (warranty etc.)
2. Is this 1 cat and 1 resonator per side? What is on the stock?
3. How can I find the rez-cat for the V6 on the new website? I can't find it in the exhaust kit section.

1. We have had no dealer reactions because the product does not throw a CEL. They have not made an issue

2. Yes, it is one per side...I believe the stock is the same, but it is a 700 cell converter, which is very restrictive.

3. We are still getting some of the new product on the site...you can still order by calling me direct at 516-655-9002.

Steve

It says direct bolt on, do these res-cats bolt on or is there a need to be welded?

Where the Cat bolts up to the manifold, does that take the replacement GM gasket, that I can pick up at my local Chevy dealer? The reason I am asking is cause I bought a set of gaskets and they seem to be the right size, only thing is, they don't seat in the recess in the cats like I think they should. Maybe they aren't supposed to? Also, one side of the gasket is sealed and the other side has like a braided wire showing, which side goes towards the cats and which side goes towards the manifold?
Thanks,
G

is this how it should fit?

Braided wire side should seat into the stock exhaust manifold.
Be sure the original is not still in place. Had to pry mine out with a flat blade screwdriver.

And it never hurts to use a little high temp RTV sealer!

BTW mett, would you mind posting up a pic of your Solo cat so I can see it lengthwise?
I'm thinking about adapting a set to my JBA shorts and can't tell from previous pics if it can be done.

Please be sure to show the top portion where the O2 sensor will be.
Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the pictures! Adapting it should not be an issue for a qualified exhaust shop
