Did I break my glove box?

I took out my glove compartment a couple of times to install the Bluetooth Onstar box. Putting it in for the final time, I have a problem. I can't get it to stay hinged in. Has anyone else had this issue reinstalling their glovebox?

I did get it fixed. I took it in to Chevy, and they said I just didn't jam it in there well enough. Keep fiddling with it. And remember to push it in towards the firewall, deep, before trying to close it. Good luck.

Thanks for the help, I'll give it a shot.

I got my OnStar box from a member here who posted it for sale in the marketplace for $150.

Prices have ranged from $75 all the way up to $400+ for the box; so keep looking until you find a good deal.

Others have purchased them from ebay, or from http://car-part.com/.

Dealer fixed mine. I couldn't tell what they did, but it doesn't have any problems.

Happened to mine also, the dealer fixed mine under warranty last year. They had to replace the Glove Box itself. I never saw what was broken though..

It involved replacing the non-bluetooth OnStar module with either a bluetooth OnStar module or an aftermarket bluetooth moduel.
