Anyone know of a good place to get your Camaro re-tuned?

Please help? I own a 2010 Camaro V8 SS and I upgraded the exhaust to the Borla cat back system along with K&N air intake. Everything sounds good and drives great but... it also needs retuning. The RPM runs low now and
unless I'm really on the paddle the car will vibrate because of that. And the
shifting even is off a bit. I understand why it does that.
Anyway, I live in Los Angeles and I was wondering if any of you awesome guys
can tell me of a good place to have the car re-tuned?

Greatly appreciated,
Nick

Haddad Motorcports does great work, and they are by you. there's a CA thread for tuning/mods etc...check that out. There are a few places in San Diego also - Excelsior...If it's an auto, which it sounds like, they can do a tranny tune also, which will help a lot!

Here's the thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76053

Stillen is also not too far and they do dyno tuning also.

BTW - Welcome to the forum & the Camaro Owner's Group!

OCD Customs in Brea. Buy the Predator or Trinity. Scott is a wizard at tuning! They are a sponsor.

RPM Motors in Santa Clarita. Charlie knows LS engines like the back of his hand. He is a wiz when it comes to tuning. He owns the place and he does the tuning himself. He has all ASE certified crew. You won't be sorry.

Your car should be running fine with a Borla and K&N. Take it to the dealer for warranty work.

you are very misinformed if you put a trinity on a gm vehicle, when you have the ability to have it tuned with such superior software like Hptuners and EFILIVE, i have a educated opinion because i use the diablo CMR software to tune the chryslers and fords and it pales in comparison to the hptuners/efilive software for the gm's.... there are some great tuners in your area Charlie @ RPM for example is one... if your willing to take a drive give us a call we are located in murrieta and we can take care of your tuning needs we have alot of experience tuning the Lsx platform not just the new camaro.... but if your dead set on staying the LA area do yourself a favor and only go to charlie, believe me i have seen all the tunes from all the local tuners, my opinion is very informed....

We've been doing a ton of SCT stuff and the software is every bit as good as both HP Tuners and EFI Live. CMR isn't bad, it's just not as advanced as SCT/HP Tuners.

Listen to this man about Charlie at RPM Motors in Santa Clarita and the others.. Charlie owns the shop, has all ASE certified techs and he himself does the tuning and dialing in your car for best and RELIABLE performance. Others will tune your car for best HP and not taking into consideration the reliability factor. You wont find less than 5 ZO6 in his shop at any time. He has a engine shop as well. He can buid you a 427 in house! Many will vote for the other shop because they got good result but if u want the best, go see Charlie! Don't mess around with Fast and Furious type shops.

dont forget me though lol, although i dont have a machine shop in house, we do build all our motors in house from a mild 347-454+ ci ls engine... our shops are similiar in what we do minus i dont have the machine right in my shop, i am also the owner and tuner

i can believe the sct is better then the cmr, but i have doubts its as advanced as hptuners/efilive, i am not saying you cant get the job done, but the support, interface , and optional operating systems makes it a very good tool
