Two questions about GM Supplier Discount

My new vehicle is inbound and my dealer and I have a written agreement on price already, but I found out today that my employer is eligible for the GM supplier discount. I may not exercise that option, but I am curious if anyone knows:

1) My dealer is adding IMR and LMA fees. With the GM supplier discount, would I still get charged for those or are they exempt from the program?

2) The GM policies state that dealers can only charge documentation fees of $75 unless allowed otherwise by law. In Arizona, there are no regulations and I've seen anywhere between a $200-500 doc fees. How hard and fast do dealers hold to the $75 doc fee with this program?

If there are no IMR fees and only a $75 doc fee, then the discount would be advantageous for me.

As I understand it, they are group marketing fees that are charged by GM, but it seems some dealers participate and some do not. In the case of my dealer, they do participate in the program and therefore the fees (about $760) are rolled into the invoice price.

So you should be able to avoid this using GMS pricing since that is a set price. I used it twice this year and it works great for a no haggle price.

Have them show you the Invoice with the GM PREFERRED PRICE -

As far as I know, the limitation is only for GM employee's, not suppliers.

GMS WAS the old GM Employee pricing. It is now GM PREFERRED. Employee's get EVA's (extra money that varies) off the GM PREFERRED. on 2011's that's $250, on 2010's it's $1000

I had to sign a document to "approve" the documentation/transfer fees that were slightly more than $75 when I used the credit union discount.
