Need answers! Please help!

This goes back to an earlier thread I made regarding a junk yard picking up some junk cars of mine. When they picked up the cars I told them I did not have titles to the vehicles they stated that was ok because they were gonna junk them anyways. Now they are calling leaving messages that if I don't present the titles to them they gonna take me to court.

Question is is this on me or on them now? What are my obligations? The cars are all older than 16 years old.

how did you find them? Do they have an add that says " we take cars without titles"? I know most junk yards do and if theirs is in writing especially then they would have no leg to stand on. Legally I don't think they can do anything to you anyways, just tell them your gonna call the cops and repor them stolen if they keep harassing you!

To add to this I actually talked to the magistrate judge here in my county, and he said not to worry that they should have gotten titles in hand before ever picking the cars up. Its there own fault.

Send a message via ICQ to 2ndgenz28 Send a message via AIM to 2ndgenz28 Send a message via Yahoo to 2ndgenz28
next step is to inform them that you talked to a lawyer / judge and if they continue to bother you, you will sue them for harassment.
