Trans upgrade??




Looks like a good upgrade. Has anyone done this?
I am calling in the morning to get pricing info. My tranny is setting on the ground right now anyways, so I am looking to upgrade.

Anyone else that has upgraded there hydro throw out, please chime in. I would like to know parts used, and if it is making a difference in your application.

Lingenfelter swaps out the entire hydraulic slave cylander/to bearing with their upgraded ZR-1 twin disc clutch setup for the Camaro.

there are a dozen of us in the Lingenfelter thread that have updated to the LPE dual disc clutch and no one has had any clutch issues since.

One other upgrade that is worthwhile is to install a separate reservoir for the clutch fluid from the brake fluid. The Camaro has a shared reservoir for both brake and clutch fluid systems.

How is the Zr1 holding up for you? Do you have a link to that thread? Any information is helpful.
