Hi all - I have been searching for a C5 group local to Atlanta but haven't found one. If anyone knows of such a group, please let me know.

I know there are C5 groups elsewhere in the state but am not aware of one specific to the Atlanta area. So, I thought I'd try to get something started.

Please respond and let me know if you'd be interested in hanging out with a C5 group from the Atlanta area.

I have been trying to start something in and around the Jefferson, gainseville, Athens area but no takers.... When yall say location Atlanta, Ga are you in Atlanta or the suburbs>

Looks like maybe in the city of Atlanta and areas just outside in all directions. I am in Monroe, which is about 40 miles east of Atlanta and I work in Tucker which is about 12 miles east of Atlanta. Metro Atlanta looks like the most central place to meet, whenever that gets set up.

well, it's not all C5's but I am a memeber of www.southeastcamaroz.com great bunch of guys, (btw, I have a 5th), and always looking for more 5ths to join up. meetings are on weekends for those out of town, and working on an additional meeting. would love to get some more 5ths in the club! my car is the COTM on the website, so clearly they don't descriminate against us C5's. check it out.

As an addendum to my earlier post. Next Saturday are the Southeast CamaroZ meetings. 1 is in Canton (up 575N, north of town by about 30 miles) and the other is up by Road Atlanta sort of. the one in Canton meets at Applebee's which serves beer so I am going to head to that one, plus it's closer to me. Both have car shows that the guys go to after the "meetings" (which are generally lunch/beers/chatting about cars etc. if anyone wants to check it out. let me know, we can meet up someplace on the way and roll in together.

Glad to see there's this much interest. I'm looking around for a good event or location for a meet-n-greet. If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them. Since we're scattered throughout metro ATL I figure we can move around and hit different locations from time to time.

Summit Racing hosts car shows regularly. They are located south of the city in McDonough. I'll post some dates and we can guage interest in a cruise-in to an upcoming show.

I will make some calls this week to scope out some possible ideas.
