I started it up yesterday. I WAS gonna pull it around and pull that bumper off, maybe get to priming it but.. It was already 6:30 and the c5 gets the garage so.. maybe this weekend.

I'm just not sure what's wrong with this engine. Maybe it IS a rod bearing, but if it is.. that's a pretty tough bird to run for so long and put up with me refreshing my memory of clutches. I've stalled it probably a dozen times since I got it. It doesn't leave the yard unfortunately, no emissions so no tag.

You thinking about tearing that engine down and rebuilding it?

a v6? Not really. Not worth the money. It's either a balance shaft issue or a rotating assembly issue.

I'm gonna have to change my signature to "slowest camaro in atlanta"

I just went out to the car to grab some lunch and I apparently hit a bug that escaped from a prehistoric time warp.. my windhsiled is covered in yellow nasty... so I guess I'll pass up the meet this afternoon.

a little pollen i understand but it looks pretty bad.

People around here understand pollen.

Spencer showed up at C&O on Sunday after hitting what must have been a chicken. It was all splattered across his windshield. Go have fun...nobody will care how clean your car is.

Haha well I'm no faster than you! So no worries!

Although I have an exhaust on the way, and an Qiraid intake at home awaiting install. So I might not be stock for much longer!

And that seems to be the case for me every time I drive. Except all over my bumper.

I've found when they hit the windshield near or in the area of your wipers, it's best to spray windshield wiper fluid right away as soon as you can. If you wait, that nastiness will spread and harden.

Just don't wait. If its there for more than 10 or so seconds, let it stay cause there's nothing you can do then while driving, haha

Must have happened this morning or yesterday afternoon. It's HUGE but it's on the passenger side so it wasn't in my vision.

Car's garaged at home and virtually garaged here at work (parking garage.I park against the wall as well so sunlight doesn't directly hit it.) I doubt it's totally caked, but it won't be easy to get this mess off.

Wouldn't mind going to meet people (even tho I'm a total introvert) but I dunno with this ugly spot.

Yall didn't say it was gonna be a CAR SHOW. I thought ya know.. camaro show.. get together or whatever.

I cleaned the bugs off my windshield at a gas station and went down there. Parked on the other side of the building and walked over to the gate. The gate was guarded by people standing around. Didn't know where to buy a ticket or anything.. saw mint resto modded chevelles and belairs.. decided I was out of my league.

Looked cool though. Hope yall had a good time.

I'm sure you weren't the only stock car there man....many of us take our stock SS's to C&O where there is million dollars worth of cars there.

It's about hanging out with good friends and chatting about cars.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything for the record, just letting you know many people (like me) just have a stock SS and go to shows...I know im not gonna win...but I enjoy seeing the cars that do.

It was my understanding that this was a MEET, not a SHOW. I differentiate the two by: a Show may have an entry and there are awards, while a meet has no entry, and no awards.

Commerce on a Friday? Probably won't be able to make that. That's 3 hours away. Saturday I could. I wouldn't be able to get there from work until probably 9pm on Friday.

they were asking people over the loudspeaker to register their cars. Sounded like a show to me. They had music playing and mostly classics.

I work in IT, on the northwest side. I'll PROBABLY go to the event coming up in may in cobb at the hotel down by global imports. I was planning to go out of town that weekend (and i may still) but I haven't made any hotel reservations or anything.

Right now I'm a student pilot at Auburn. I'm majoring in Professional Flight...but I'm a few lessons away from getting my private pilot license and I need to fly as much as possible so I don't have to stay after the semester ends.
