man im pissed right now, i mean i can understand the intolerances but not having an unleveled intake is just a straight piss off. Im going to see what they will do, prety pissed. If they send me another horn with an issue, im going to have them fully refund it including the $22 brokerage fee on top of the intake.
Stupid intake moves up and closes the gap, then on top of it wont sit flush because its not level. Going injen for sure if they dont fix it
For some reason the 3rd seem very weak on our car. The gearing is way more aggressive than the 4th but for some reason it does not have that kick like it does in 2nd and 4th. The power kis there but its very smooth. I dont like smooth TJ. I like that break your neck, get stuck to the seat type of pulls which my 1st, 2nd, and 4th def have. WTF even my 6th have some kick to the pants lol. I never liked the 3rd on these cars from the day one but the power is there on all gears. The power was there before the VR for me anyway due to my e85 tuning and 3k rpm tq peak. If you really want to notice change go with e85. Trust me.. you will thank me. Some of these folks just dont have a clue what they are missing out on. If you want power and more possibilities than go with e85.
you dont feel much in third? Shit, I was hoping for there to be some difference in third atleast. Yeah I spoke to Vararam and they made me feel more confident. But well see Friday, if it looks like shit im getting my money back and going Injen. The Injen sounds sweet and the IATs drop fast on those. Every video ive seen of the VR, its quiet up until 5k rpm. Oh well, if this looks like crap, fits like crap or heatsoaks like a pos, im returning it for sure.
The sound is normal until you get on it.. I have no other intake to compare to since vr is my 1st intake on this car but like I told you on the pm im not going to kiss no ones ass and im a tell it like how I see it. their quality suck ass big time! as far as performance I def feel the difference from my stock intake no question about it. How much can we expect out of this intake? def not 30/30, Hellll NOOO!! It wont happen lol. I think vr was right with their advertised hp gain. 15-20. Also the B/W instruction say E38.Our ecm is E69. I dont get it.
