it happens pretty much every time I let it sit for a long time... it didnt rain.. it goes away after about 2 minutes of driving though... i lifted the hood... seems like the belts but idk...

Mine did that this morning. Ive been monitoring it closely but I believe it was just water + coldness on the belts. Did it rain the night before for you? Also does the noise change when you turn the wheel?

what did the noise sound like from your engine? when mines in park and freshly started i hear a bad screetching sound :(
