I just used some garbage bags to cover the back of the car and left the bow tie showing. It was by far easier than taking off the bow tie.

Yeah, just scuffed up the chrome. The front has a couple of chips in it now so i think I should have used some sort of plastic primer or something.

Hey man, been checking out your excellent threads since you won COTW. Very impressed. I'm new to this game....don't know a thing about it, really. I know you said you scuffed up the tail light bezels and then spray painted them. Did you scuff up the chrome on the bowties before you painted those also? I was looking to paint mine white. And also, you painted the rear bowtie while it was still on the car....was that tedious?
